7 Reasons Why Kajabi Kajabi Basic
Reducing this down to a list of seven was very difficult, but here it is… Kajabi Basic
1. It’s built to sell.
Kajabi has excellent tools for creating landing pages and sales funnels, and transforming site visitors into customers. You can also handle all of your e-mail marketing within Kajabi – including automated follow-up sequences – so, theres no need for a third party platform (although it does integrate quite easily with Aweber, Mailchimp, and Active Campaign). In general, Kajabi is ahead of most other online course programs in the native advertising and selling capabilities it provides.
2. It looks great from the beginning.
Kajabi offers several choices on a core website theme that looks professional and modern and it also offers very easy on the eyes, functional templates for creating your sales pipeline pages and landing pages. There’s also a market for custom, premium themes if you do not wish to go with what Kajabi offers.
When it is about actually building your site, Kajabi has pre-designed themes which you can install with a single click. The themes set the overall appearance and style of your site and help you quickly and easily build a good looking site.
Kajabi is actually taking a different approach with their site themes now. They’ve archived 10 out of the 11 themes and are currently focusing only on the Premier Theme.
They’ve advanced the Premier Theme into a super flexible framework and they use it to build all the new website themes. These themes are now called Layout Presets and now there are 6 unique Presets available in their library, all of which are built on the”Premier Framework”.
All of the Layout Presets have a minimal and contemporary design and they do look great. Once you set up a Preset, you can further customize it with the webpage builder to provide your website the look and feel you want.
You can still use any of the 10 themes that have now been transferred to the Legacy Themes archive if you want. Although, since Kajabi won’t be working to improve them anymore, I will advise that you use just the Premier Theme for your site.
Lastly, Kajabi also provides you the freedom to import and utilize custom themes. Therefore, if you are a power user, you can hire a developer to build a completely custom theme for your website.
3. It has sufficient blogging capabilities.
While not at the level of WordPress, the blogging capabilities Kajabi presents are significantly better than those of most online course platforms. (And, remember, a solid blog is one of the best assets for bringing visitors to your site and products.)
4. It has powerful video streaming capabilities.
Kajabi has Wistia – among the all-around best video hosting platforms – completely integrated for streaming and uploading your videos. Because of this you can be assured that your videos will deliver as good as possible for whatever bandwidth or screen any individual student is using — and that they will be as safe as possible.
Best of all, this doesn’t require a separate Wistia license – it’s just included in. Keep in mind that Wistia pricing starts at $99 per month for a Pro license (what most class sellers will need) – so, considering that entry-level Kajabi pricing starts at $149 per month ($119 is paid annually), this is a fairly major bargain. 5. It will jumpstart your product creation.
Kajabi offers excellent templates for mini courses, online courses, evergreen trainings, and memberships. You can customize these by inputting your own content and removing anything you don’t like, and you will be off and running in no time. Kajabi Basic
6. It makes live events really simple to create and promote.
This somewhat goes hand in hand with product development, but Kajabi is so strong in this area, it deserves to be mentioned individually.
You can easily set up a Zoom Webinar in Kajabi and – even better – build a pipeline out around it which incorporates your registration page, e-mails, a post-event offer page, and a checkout page. Kajabi supplies templates for all of this, so all you have to do is change the text and drop in your Zoom link. (You do have to have your own Zoom accounts.)
You can use this same approach to set up virtual conferences or summits or even place-based events. (These kinds of events utilize Legacy pipeline templates in Kajabi. I’m assuming newer versions of those will come out at some point, but they work just fine at this time.)
7. It is supported by an extensive network
Kajabi has been around for quite a while. Because of this, there are plenty of companies out there that have created custom themes for it (as mentioned above) and that provide a selection of services to support it. There are also lots of articles and blog posts out there addressing just about anything you want to do with Kajabi. If you can not find what you would like through the business’ own training and support – which are quite good – you will almost certainly be able to find it out on the internet.
So, there’s really quite a lot to like about Kajabi.
Generally speaking, Kajabi will offer you much more power than most course platforms over developing a website where you can offer your courses but also manage the whole Web presence for your business. To put it differently, you do not need to set up a separate website on WordPress or another platform – a Kajabi site can become your home base.
Pricing Kajabi Basic
In the past, I’ve seen online course platforms that offer free plans, and some cheap ones about $20. However, it feels like you usually get the best features about the $50 to $100 pricing.
When you take a look at Kajabi, it’s definitely going to look like the pricing is a little off the charts. The cheapest of these plans is $103 a month, and that’s when you pay annually. It is not exactly what online course startups like to hear, but it’s clear who Kajabi caters to.
The basic plan, as previously mentioned, sells for $103 per month. With that, you acquire support for five products (courses) and 1,000 active members. Accordinly, Kajabi is more of a high-powered system for in-depth courses.
The business is attempting to get you to make quality products, then promote the heck out of them with the intense marketing tools.
Let us have a look at the full range of pricing: Kajabi Basic
Basic – $103 per month gets you support for 5 products, 25,000 marketing emails per month, 1 admin user, 1,000 active members, 1 website, and 25 pipelines.
Pro – $311 per month gets you support for 100 products, 75,000 marketing emails per month, 5 admin users, 10,000 active members, 3 websites, and 100 pipelines. You also receive an affiliate program and also the choice to remove the Kajabi branding.
Premium – $719 per month gets you support for unlimited products, 150,000 marketing emails each month, 25 admin users, unlimited active members, 10 websites, and unlimited pipelines. You also receive an affiliate program and also the option to remove the Kajabi branding.
An Enterprise plan is also sold, but you need to speak to the Kajabi company so as to get more info on that. I would assume Kajabi is willing to support any enterprise size, so that you can customize your plan.
It’s also worth stating that all Kajabi plans include 0% transaction fees, 24/7 email and live chat support, drip content, advanced customization tools, training courses, and webinars
Kajabi does not provide a free plan but it does offer a free trial on all plans so that you can try out the software. Usually, Kajabi extends a 14-day free trial but you can get a 28-day free trial as part of the Kajabi Hero Challenge.
This challenge is a proven strategy for placing yourself on the perfect path to becoming a Kajabi Hero.
When you accept this Challenge, over the next 28 days Kajabi is going to help you through all you need to do to build your first digital product and get your first sale. .All within 28 days!
Live chat and email support are provided 24/7. So, when you run into a situation with your course website, you can contact one of the live chat representatives, regardless of what time it is. I asked a question and they came back to me in 20 mins. Of course, it doesn’t always happen so fast and they don’t have a guarantee to reply you within 20 minutes. However, for me, this reveals a fantastic support.
If you buy a yearly plan, they will give you two 1-on-1 classes that last an hour. During those lessons, they will take you hand by hand and reveal how you can start using Kajabi.
As for the online resources, Kajabi does not disappoint.
Event and webinar options are provided for the Premium plan clients, but everyone is able to access the Kajabi blog and the help center.
The blog covers everything from content promotion to improve your writing skills, and the help center has articles and videos for understanding the Kajabi features for marketing, integrations, your online store, and the handling of accounts.
Kajabi also includes a rich collection of videos and articles, so the help center is excellent for individuals who want to finish their own research.
The best part about Kajabi is that everything is under one roof. Email, landing pages, sales pages, shopping cart, website, blog, marketing funnels, online courses. It is all there in one system. PERFECT.
And you know what, Kajabi does a reasonably good job at all of those functions, and they’re always developing and adding more features.
But what nearly always astounds me is the live customer support. They provide 24/7 live chat, and the longest I have ever had to wait (and I’ve chatted at all times of night and day!) Is three or four minutes, once. Every other occasion (and there have been many!) I am almost directly connected to somebody. And these people are wonderful. They will get you the answer, assist you troubleshoot your problem, and even tinker around with a few codings or options on the webpage to make it work if you’re trying something a bit more different and can’t quite get it to work correctly. Seriously. The support staff is the best!
The price, this software is definitely on the expensive side and greater than their competitors.
Is Kajabi Worth It? Kajabi Basic
To begin with, I answer the question that some people were asking online, “Is Kajabi a scam?” No, Kajabi is not a scam. Kajabi Basic
If you don’t consider yourself as a”techy” individual, and you know, without a doubt, that you don’t need to learn how to do any kind of custom coding, Kajabi should be at the top of your list for consideration.
I love that it not only focuses on course creation but also on marketing and sales.
Because lots of people end up trying to pick between Kajabi or Rainmaker, in a sentence, I will sum the recommendation up like this: Kajabi is much better at creating a membership area for online courses than Rainmaker.
