With Kajabi, users may create digital products such as online courses, membership sites and training portals effectively and efficiently. So as to design engaging and aesthetic product content, users can produce customizable themes, add file downloads, stream videos and upload pictures and sound. Users may also have all of their products together into one website using one login, a personalized URL and an integrated blog to help acquire subscribers.
Other than digital content production, Kajabi encourages sales, marketing and client engagement. Since Kajabi integrates with Stripe, users can secure straightforward electronic payments. To simplify marketing approaches, Kajabi entitles users to build custom forms and landing pages very easily. Users may also send email broadcasts and thereafter track their performance with Kajabi’s email analytics. Kajabi embraces a number of built-in integrations with applications such as Google Analytics, MailChimp and Infusionsoft allowing users to manage their online products and share their digital content smoothly.
1. It is built to sell.
Kajabi has great tools for creating sales funnels and landing pages, and transforming website visitors into customers. You can also organize all of your email marketing within Kajabi – such as automated follow-up sequences – that means, there’s no need for a third party platform (although it does integrate easily with Aweber, Mailchimp, and Active Campaign). Overall, Kajabi is ahead of most other online course platforms in the native advertising and selling capabilities it offers.
2. It looks phenomenal from the beginning.
Kajabi gives a handful of alternatives on a core site theme that looks professional and modern and it also gives very easy on the eyes, functional templates for creating your sales pipeline pages and landing pages. There’s also a market for custom, premium themes if you don’t like to go with what Kajabi offers.
When it comes to actually building your website, Kajabi has pre-designed themes which you can install with one click. The themes determine the overall appearance and style of your site and help you quickly and easily create a well made website.
Kajabi is actually taking a different approach with their site themes now. They’ve archived 10 out of the 11 themes and are currently focusing just on the Premier Theme.
They have developed the Premier Theme into a super flexible framework and they use it to create all the new website themes. These themes are now known as Layout Presets and now there are 6 unique Presets available in their library, all of which can be built on the”Premier Framework”.
All of the Layout Presets have a simple and modern design and they do look good. Once you install a Preset, you can further customize it with the page builder to provide your site the feel and look you want.
You can still utilize any of the 10 themes that have now been transferred to the Legacy Themes archive if you want. However, since Kajabi will not be working to develop them anymore, I will recommend that you use just the Premier Theme for your website.
Lastly, Kajabi also provides you the freedom to import and utilize custom themes. Therefore, if you are a power user, you can hire a developer to construct a completely custom theme for your site.
3. It has sufficient blogging capabilities.
While not yet at par with WordPress, the blogging capability Kajabi provides are significantly better than those of most online course platforms. (And, remember, a solid blog is one of the best assets for attracting visitors to your site and products.)
4. It has strong video streaming capabilities.
Kajabi utilizes Wistia – among the all-around top video hosting programs – fully integrated for streaming and uploading your videos. Because of this you can be assured that your videos will deliver as great as possible for whatever screen or bandwidth any individual student is using — and that they will be as safe as possible.
5. It will jumpstart your product creation.
6. It makes live events really easy to create and promote.
This in a way goes along with product development, but Kajabi is so strong in this region, it deserves to be mentioned separately.
It is simple to set up a Zoom Webinar in Kajabi and – even better – build a pipeline out around it which has your registration page, e-mails, a post-event offer page, and a checkout page. Kajabi provides templates for all of this, so all you have to do is customize the text and put in your Zoom link. (You do need to have your own Zoom account.)
You can use this same approach to prepare online summits or conferences or even place-based events. (These types of events use Legacy pipeline templates in Kajabi. I am assuming upgraded versions of these will be available at some point, but they work just fine right now.)
7. It is supported by an extensive network
Kajabi has been around for quite a while. Because of this, there are a number of companies out there that have designed custom themes for it (as mentioned above) and that provide a selection of services to support it. Additionally, there are lots of articles and blog posts out there addressing just about anything you need to do with Kajabi. If you can’t find what you want through the company’s own training and support – which are quite good – you will almost certainly be able to find it out on the web.
So, there is really quite a lot to love about Kajabi.
Generally speaking, Kajabi will provide you much more power than most course platforms over creating a website where you are able to provide your courses but also manage the whole Web presence for your small business. In other words, you do not need to establish a separate site on WordPress or another platform – a Kajabi site can become your home base.
In the past, I’ve seen online course platforms that offer free plans, and some inexpensive ones around $20. However, it seems like you usually receive the best features around the $50 to $100 pricing.
When you look at Kajabi, it is undeniably going to look like the pricing is a little off the charts. The most affordable of the plans is $103 a month, and that’s when you pay yearly. It is not exactly what online course startups need to hear, but it’s obvious who Kajabi caters to.
The most affordable plan, as previously mentioned, sells for $103 a month. With that, you get support for 5 products (courses) and 1,000 active members. Accordinly, Kajabi is more of a high-powered system for comprehensive courses.
The business is attempting to get you to make quality products, then market the hell out of them with the extreme marketing tools.
Basic – $103 per month gets you support for 5 products, 25,000 marketing emails per month, 1 admin user, 1,000 active members, 1 website, and 25 pipelines.
Pro – $311 per month gets you support for 100 products, 75,000 marketing emails per month, 5 admin users, 10,000 active members, 3 websites, and 100 pipelines. You also get an affiliate program and the choice to remove the Kajabi branding.
Premium – $719 per month gets you support for unlimited products, 150,000 marketing emails per month, 25 admin users, unlimited active members, 10 websites, and unlimited pipelines. You also secure an affiliate program and the choice to remove the Kajabi branding.
An Enterprise plan is also sold, but you need to contact the Kajabi company so as to acquire more info on that. I’d presume Kajabi is willing to support any business size, so that you can customize your plan.
It is also worth mentioning that all Kajabi plans come with 0% transaction fees, 24/7 email and live chat support, drip content, advanced customization tools, training courses, and webinars
Kajabi does not offer a free plan but it does offer a free trial on all plans so that you may try the software. Normally, Kajabi offers a 14-day free trial but you can receive a 28-day free trial as part of their Kajabi Hero Challenge.
This challenge is a proven strategy for placing yourself on the right path to becoming a Kajabi Hero.
When you take this Challenge, over the next 28 days Kajabi will assist you through all you will need to do to build your first digital product and get your first sale. .All within 28 days!
The live chat and email support are provided 24/7. So, when you encounter a situation with your course site, you can contact one of the live chat representatives, no matter what time it is. I asked a question and they came back to me in 20 minutes. Of course, it does not always happen so fast and they do not have a guarantee to reply you within 20 mins. But for me, this shows a fantastic support.
If you acquire a yearly plan, they will give you two 1-on-1 classes that last an hour. During those lessons, they’ll take you hand by hand and show how you can start using Kajabi.
As for the online resources, Kajabi doesn’t disappoint.
Event and webinar choices are provided for the Premium plan customers, but everybody is able to get the Kajabi blog and the help center.
The blog covers everything from content marketing to improve your writing skills, and the help center has videos and articles for grasping the Kajabi features for marketing, integrations, your online store, and the managing of accounts.
Kajabi also includes a rich collection of articles and videos, so the help center is perfect for individuals who want to finish their own research.
The best part of Kajabi is that everything is under one roof. Email, landing pages, sales pages, shopping cart, website, blog, marketing funnels, online courses. It’s all there in 1 system. VERY NICE.
And you know what, Kajabi does a fairly great job at all of these functions, and they are always enhancing and adding more features.
But what almost always astounds me is the live customer care. They offer 24/7 live chat, and the longest I’ve ever had to wait (and I have chatted at all times of night and day!) Is three or four minutes, once. Every other occasion (and there have been many!) I am almost directly connected to someone. And these people are awesome. They will get you the answer, assist you troubleshoot your issue, and even tinker around with a few codings or options on the page to make it work if you’re trying something a bit more different and can’t quite get it to work correctly. Seriously. The support team is the best!
The price, this software is definitely on the expensive side and greater than their competitors.
If you don’t consider yourself as a”techy” individual, and you know, without a doubt, that you do not want to learn how to do any kind of custom coding, Kajabi should be on top of your list for consideration.
I like that it not only focuses on course production but also on marketing and sales.
Because many folks end up trying to choose between Kajabi or Rainmaker, in a sentence, I’ll sum up the recommendation like this: Kajabi is much better at creating a membership area for online courses than Rainmaker.
